Event Description: Deer hunters may have an edge on this one. Athletes shoot rubberbands to knock over standing CD-ROMs (in their cases).


To Register: Send your name and the name of this event to the IOOC Coordinator before 10 a.m. of the day of this event. Walk-ons also welcome. Note: Participation in the Games provides tacit permission for the future use of any photographs or videos.

Rules:

1.Each athlete will be given eight rubberbands of uniform length and width. The targets are six CD-ROMs standing in a row at a distance of eight feet. Targets will be reset as necessary.

2.Maximum rubberband set-up and aim time for each shot is 10 seconds.

3.Athletes use only hands and rubberbands. No other devices may be used.

4.Athlete's feet must remain behind the eight-foot distance marker on the floor.

5.Highest 5 scorers compete in same-day playoff for the top three medals. The gold medal is awarded to the athlete knocking over the highest number of CD-ROMs in a one-round playoff. In the event of a tie, additional playoff rounds will be necessary until we have a gold medal winner.
